Project Brief
AI agents are moving from suggestion to action — placing trades, submitting government forms, processing insurance claims, and making decisions on behalf of users and enterprises. When something goes wrong, there is no legally admissible record of why the agent did what it did. The reasoning chain (prompt, retrieved context, chain-of-thought, tool calls, model response, final output) exists in application memory for a fraction of a second, then disappears.
AgentLedger solves this by recording the complete agent reasoning cycle onto a Qualified Electronic Ledger (QEL) under eIDAS 2.0, the EU’s digital identity and trust services regulation. Under Article 45k, data records on a QEL carry the legal presumption of integrity and chronological accuracy — meaning courts presume the record is accurate, and the burden of proof shifts to anyone challenging it.

Target users: AI agent platform providers and foundation model companies selling to enterprise. Secondary: regulated enterprises deploying agents in financial services, healthcare, government.
What makes it unique: Every competitor in this space — observability tools (LangSmith, Arize), governance platforms (Zenity, CleanAim), blockchain audit proposals (Faiā) — fails on the same point: their records have no legal standing. AgentLedger’s moat is regulatory, not technical. The QEL’s qualified status under eIDAS 2.0 confers a legal presumption that no conventional database or unqualified blockchain can provide. QTSP qualification takes 12–24 months to obtain, creating a durable barrier.
Market timing: EU AI Act Article 12 logging requirements for high-risk AI systems become enforceable August 2, 2026. AgentLedger provides the compliance infrastructure that also carries legal evidentiary weight.
How will you integrate 0G?
0G’s modular AI-first architecture maps directly onto AgentLedger’s three core infrastructure requirements:
1. 0G Storage → Reasoning Record Persistence AgentLedger records full-content reasoning records (5–50 KB each, comprising prompts, responses, tool calls, and metadata). 0G Storage’s decentralised, high-throughput storage layer (up to 2 GB/s) with verifiable permanence provides the persistence layer for these records. Unlike centralised cloud storage, records stored on 0G cannot be arbitrarily deleted or modified by any single operator — a property that directly supports the immutability requirements of a Qualified Electronic Ledger under eIDAS 2.0 Article 45l.
2. 0G Data Availability → High-Throughput Ledger Writes Enterprise agent deployments generate tens of thousands of reasoning records per day. 0G’s data availability layer — 50,000x faster and 100x cheaper than Ethereum DA — provides the throughput necessary for AgentLedger to operate at enterprise scale without bottlenecking agent execution. Each reasoning record must be confirmed as available and sequenced before the write receipt is returned to the agent platform.
3. 0G Verified Compute (TEE-based Sealed Inference) → Provenance Verification 0G’s TEE-based verified compute allows AgentLedger to provide cryptographic proof that a specific model inference was executed correctly with specific inputs. This complements the QEL record: the ledger proves what the agent reasoned, and 0G’s sealed inference proves the reasoning was executed faithfully by the claimed model. Together, they close the accountability loop — you can prove both the content and the integrity of execution.
